The People Behind the Difference
The People Behind the Difference
Last month, we celebrated National Driver Appreciation Week, giving us a chance to slow down and spend some time with the drivers who serve our customers every day.
Throughout the week, different departments gave our drivers a small gift as a way of saying thank you. We also cooked out at our Apex location, Durham fuel operations, and our propane office. I enjoyed joining other members of our staff, sitting down with our drivers, sharing a meal, and simply spending time together.
We even had a couple of drivers starting their first week with Couch Oil. What a way to come in! I hope it gave them an early glimpse of the kind of company and team they have joined.
Our drivers do much more than make deliveries. They serve our customers every day—working safely, solving problems, building relationships, and representing Couch Oil throughout our coverage area.
The week was a great reminder of what Family, Excellence, and Community look like in practice. I am grateful for our drivers and for everyone who helped make the week special.
To our drivers, thank you for what you do. And to our customers, thank you for allowing our team to serve you.

Today, you can order almost anything without ever talking to another person. Sometimes that's a good thing. We like technology, too. It helps us monitor tanks, plan deliveries, communicate with our drivers, and serve our customers more efficiently.
But there are times when you don't want an app. You want a person.
Maybe your crew moved to another job site. You're using fuel faster ...
