A Legacy Built on Family, Excellence, and Community
We celebrate a significant milestone in our journey as we have been serving the Greater Triangle Area for 75 years. When Carlton Couch founded Couch Oil Company back in 1949, he made it his mission to make a difference in the lives of his customers and employees by serving them with excellence and engaging with them like family.
Steve Couch, Carlton’s son, now presides over company operations, and continues to implement these values in his loyalty to customers, employees, and the community. We are grateful for our loyal customers and employees who are essential to everything we do. We are also thankful for the community who has always supported us along the way.
Giving Back to the Community that Shaped Us
By partnering with local nonprofits and establishing our own, we have been able to make a difference in the community that has been formative to our growth over the last 75 years. In 2023 we officially established Couch Oil Cares, our education focused 501(3)(c) nonprofit.
We believe education has the power to break down barriers, inspire innovation, and create positive change in our communities. We are striving to empower the next generation to make a difference in the world by investing in schools, teachers, students, and parents. Our Couch Oil Cares Scholarship Program, now in its 10th year, has provided college tuition assistance for 48 students from across a 16-county area of central North Carolina. We are excited to continue growing our efforts by investing in North Carolina’s next generation of leaders.
