What You’ll Do

• Build and grow relationships with commercial customers
• Prospect for new business throughout your territory
• Develop leads through calls, referrals and in-person relationship building
• Help customers identify the right fuel, lubricant and service solutions
• Spend most of your time in the field meeting customers and developing new opportunities

Required Skills:

• New business development including consistent cold-calling prospects on a daily basis
• Proven track record of fostering sound customer relationships, retaining and penetrating existing customers, and capturing new customers
• Display proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. and ability to acclimate to Couch Oil Company’s systems
• Ability to organize and manage time appropriately while working in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and responsive to internal and external customers
• Must exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently while still working in a team environment

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous industry field experience preferred
• Bachelors or Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• First year college graduates are welcome, Internship experience is a plus
• Minimum of 3+ years outside direct sales/service experience preferred
• Verifiable work history and previous success building and maintaining professional relationships
